The 3rd October was the start of our over-subscribed ‘Have a Go’ sailing course at Nelson Yacht Club… 14 newbies taking advantage of the school holidays to try sailing. The course runs for 4 hours over three days. Of course we were greeted by Force 6 SW winds!
Holly and Maisie managed to get the boisterous lot through some knots and rigging, before taking a couple of boats upwind into the lee of Haulashore Island to run a few out-and-back tacking drills. Good work! 
Tomorrow the wind is forecast to drop off a little, with much less for Friday… Looking forward to it!
