After a wash out the previous week, we offered to run some extra junior sailing on Saturday 20th October… and thank you so much to the weather for giving us perfect conditions!
The morning saw our Level 1 course / beginner group kick off their 8 sessions with light airs building to a perfect force 2, in which they did fantastically well, learning to sail upwind and downwind!
The afternoon saw a bit more breeze and over 20 boats on the water enjoying a number of different races / challenges organised by parents and volunteers. It was great to see so many kids out on the water, and we’re looking forward to next week already!
